Easter Reflection: What We’re Rising Into

Easter Reflection: What We’re Rising Into

A Resurrection Moment for the Grieving Heart

We’ve made it through Lent.

Six weeks of surrender.
Of letting go.
Of giving up what weighs heavy.
Resentment. Hatred. Worry. Anger. Gloom.
Each week, peeling back another layer.
Each week, laying something down.

And now… it’s Easter.

But what does resurrection look like when you’re still grieving?
What does rising mean when your heart still aches?

Maybe it doesn’t look like dancing in the streets.
Maybe it looks like a quiet breath, taken without guilt.
Maybe it’s a smile that doesn’t apologize.
A laugh that bubbles up unexpectedly.
A moment of stillness where, for once, you feel peace.

This Is What We’re Rising Into

We’re rising into hope that still holds room for pain.
We’re rising into grace that meets us exactly where we are.
We’re rising into light, not because we’ve forgotten the darkness—but because we’ve learned how to live in it without being consumed by it.

We’re rising into:

💜 Joy without guilt
💜 Faith without needing every answer
💜 Peace that doesn’t require perfection
💜 Trust that God was there all along—even in the silence

And yes, we’re rising into a little more freedom from doubt.
Because even if you’ve questioned everything along the way, you’re still here.
And that, my friend, is holy.

Your Easter Invitation

💭 What have you laid down this Lenten season?
💭 What is God inviting you to rise into today?

Maybe it’s:

🕊️ Believing that healing is still possible
🕊️ Trusting that joy won’t replace love—it will honor it
🕊️ Remembering that resurrection wasn’t just for Jesus… it’s for you, too

You were never meant to stay in the tomb of your grief.
There is life still calling your name.

Let’s rise—slowly, gently, sacredly.
Let’s walk out of the dark with hearts cracked open, ready to be filled with something new.

He is risen… and so are we.
